Salary – up to £32,572.80, 45 hours per week,  Plus Paid Overtime
Location Stafford ST18
On behalf of our client, a well-known luxury family-owned hotel and pub group based in Stafford we are looking to appoint an experienced Sous Chef to join their team.

Job Role:

Ensure all food is presented for service in a timely manner and in correct sequence.
Develop and maintain an outstanding reputation for excellent food
Ensure all dishes are to company specification
Implement and ensure the company Health and Safety Policy is always met; this includes the training of all kitchen staff.
Ensure the kitchen runs smoothly daily and is adequately stocked with all necessary goods
Assists in ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly administration is to company standards and meets deadlines.
Ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic, making sure cleaning rotas are adhered to and records kept.
Supporting the Head Chef with various duties
Controls wastage and records/reports all wastage accordingly.
Assists in monitoring and controlling stock levels, daily, weekly and monthly intervals and ensuring there are no shortfalls
Deal with day-to-day personnel queries, referring to the Head Chef and Operations Manager as appropriate.
The Ideal Person:

Confident and personable
Previous Sous chef experience  
Able to Support at other close by venues if required
Takes pride in their food and standards administration is to company standards and meets deadlines.
Ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic, making sure cleaning rotas are adhered to and records kept.
Can work on own initiative to deal with problems and opportunities and cascades to Head Benefits:
