Owen Payne Recruitment are seeking an experienced Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a leading agricultural client located the Telford area.
This is a permanent role, following a 4 on 4 off shift.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience
Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or ONC / HNC Or equivalent in either Mechanical or electrical disciplines or
Degree trained.
If none of the above minimum level 3 C&G With minimum 5 yeas in similar industry
Experience within a Maintenance environment
Strong ability to make logical decisions
Good communication skills
Ability to prioritise own work load.
Ability to work under pressure
Main duties of a Shift Maintenance Engineer:
Fault diagnosis on both electrical and mechanical equipment and carry out repairs.
Ability to observe, recognise and report on machinery or component defects / failures.
Previous experience of carrying out planned preventative maintenance
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Complete planned corrective work and performance improvement work
Examples of recognised problem solving techniques. Ie 5Y, Break down analysis.
Previous experience of working with a CMMS system.
Conduct all maintenance duties of the site to ensure the smooth running of the shift, both mechanically and electrical.
Setting out schedules to carry out improvement work.
All of the above are the main duties of the job role however, on occasions you may be requested to fulfil extra duties in line with your responsibility.
Hours of work for a Shift Maintenance Engineer:
4 on / 4 hour (12 hour shifts rotating days and nights)
Candidates must be flexible to work weekends and bank holidays.
Salary:
£42,000.00-£46,000.00 pa (DOE)
