Our Client based in Bromsgrove is currently recruiting for an experienced SEO Specialist. Details of the role are as below:

Our Client is seeking an SEO specialist to complement growth within the team, ability to collaborate and communicate effectively, and desire to contribute ideas. As an SEO Specialist, your role will involve working alongside management to produce effective on-page, off-page and technical SEO strategies, delegating content to writers, identifying technical fixes for developers, and helping junior team members develop their skills. The role requires regular client communication over phone calls and email, as well as face to face meetings to discuss progress and upcoming actions. .

The Team – Website Design, Development, and SEO teams have worked tremendously together in producing outstanding results for our clients, which is a credit to ongoing collaboration and a determination to keep improving. To continue developing the service they provide for the growing client base, Our Client are seeking an SEO Specialist who is confident in creating and curating strategies, executing and delegating tasks, and communicating with clients

Positioning the role – The SEO department is structured into 3 sub-teams. Each team is structured with Content Writers, SEO Executives, SEO Specialists and Web Developers, and led by an SEO Manager who will structure and co-ordinate each team’s workload.

Core responsibilities of the role

Client onboarding assistance. Keyword Research. Competitor Analysis. Formulating SEO strategies for Lead Gen & E-commerce clients. Creating content briefs. Uploading and editing website content. On page changes in line with strategy. Daily monitoring of rankings/traffic changes. Using analytics tools to create reports and inform strategies. Support in the creation of new landing page copy and design. Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords. Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes. Monitor and analyse ongoing SEO campaigns to identify problem areas and suggest ways for improvement. Review and optimise old content according to SEO best practices. Direct off-page projects (backlink audits and prospecting). Working with various SEO software (SEMrush, Agency Analytics, Screaming Frog, Majestic, Google Analytics & Search Console). Arranging and leading face to face client meetings. Oversee reporting and be a key point of contact for account management. Account Management Managing and building client relationships while dealing with client requests. Monthly reporting to required clients. Arranging and leading face to face meetings with clients. Independent account management of clients *when ready. Supporting SEO Manager with account management on bigger clients. Team Communication Reporting to SEO Manager. Collaborating with both Junior & Senior members of the SEO team. Supporting & training junior members of the SEO where required. Setting tasks for our in-house SEO Developers and Content Writers.

Skills

Detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized. Confident verbal and written communicator. High standard of written English. Knowledge of up to date on and off page SEO best practices. Ability to meet deadlines from management and clients. Proven SEO experience. Self-motivated with a keenness to learn & develop.

Experience

Previous agency or in house SEO experience desirable. Evidence of responsibility for successful SEO campaigns.

Core accountabilities

Taking the lead on auditing and analysis of client projects Building, curating and presenting SEO strategies and content priorities Regular communication with clients to update on strategic progress and project performance Oversee project implementation with care and assertiveness Help drive the agency forward with the guidance of the Leadership and Management teams. Strive towards exceeding annual financial targets. Departmental coordination and integration which increase efficiencies and collaboration. Be commercially minded in all that you do.
