Our Client based in Bromsgrove is currently recruiting for an experienced Content Writer to carry out the following:

Overview of the Team:

Website Design, Development, and SEO teams have worked tremendously together in producing outstanding results for clients, which is a credit to ongoing collaboration and a determination to keep improving. To continue developing the service they provide for a growing client base, the Client require a dependable, creative content writer with faultless attention to detail and a flair for writing in different tones for a wide range of topics. Positioning the role The SEO department is structured into 3 sub-teams. Each team is structured with Content Writers, SEO Specialists and Web Developers, and led by an SEO Manager who will structure and co-ordinate each team’s workload.

Core responsibilities of the role:

Writing blog articles. Writing SEO focused landing pages. Improving existing website copy. Creating engaging and factually accurate content. Independent research of content topics to ensure accuracy Conducting competitor research to enhance your content. Meeting deadlines set by the SEO team. Following content briefs. Proofing and editing copy to ensure consistent high-quality. Being a part of client meetings to discuss and plan content strategies. Playing an essential role in our SEO projects. Working to design wireframes. Uploading and formatting blog articles to WordPress.

Skills

Being approachable and proactive in all that you do. Confident written and verbal communication. Impeccable spelling and grammar. Excellent research skills. Strong organisation and time management. Ability to collaborate and contribute ideas effectively within a team A desire to learn & improve. Polite & friendly! Experience A degree in English, Journalism, or any similar role. At least one year of work experience as a Content Writer. Portfolio of published articles. Excellent writing and proofreading skills. Experience working to content briefs. Knowledge & interest in SEO desirable.

Core accountabilities

Help drive the agency forward with the guidance of the Leadership and Management teams. Strive towards exceeding annual financial targets. Departmental coordination and integration which increase efficiencies and collaboration. Be commercially minded in all that you do. Delivering your day-to-day work within the time frame given by your Line Manager. Have a voice, good ideas can come from anyone and anywhere.

Hours of work: Monday – Thursday 9 – 5

Friday 9 – 4
