SEN Teaching Assistant
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £70 – £90/day
Exact Education are working in partnership with a specialist school in Newcastle that caters for pupils who have a wide range of additional needs and many of them also have complex health issues. They need a Support Assistant to start ASAP for a full time long-term position. Duties include:
* Working as a general assistant to the class teacher
* Supporting Numeracy and Literacy
* Assisting with lower ability groups
* Providing 1 to 1 support
We are looking for flexible, hard working Teaching Assistants who are willing to work with school requirements, who are experienced working within a School setting.
In return you will receive highly competitive daily rates which are dependent upon experience.
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, HLTA status or equivalent, have at least 3 months experience working within a school or nursery, and have a strong knowledge of the EYFS/Primary/Secondary Curriculum.
