Our client is a mid-sized firm of chartered accountants located in thee mid Surrey area and looking to recruit an Semi-Senior. Our client is a long and well established accountancy with a broad and varied client base across a number of sectors and are based in prestigious. offices.

The role will involve planning, review and finalisation of audits/accounts preparation assignments, to include preparation, approval and monitoring of budgets, considered review of junior work, finalisation of financial statements and presentation of files to director for review on non-complex assignments and to managers on completion.
Skills Required:
• AAT qualified and/or finalist ACCA is desirable
• The ability to organise multiple tasks within tight timescales
• Experience in present or previous role with leading an audit
• 30% of role would be audit with the remainder of time being involved in accounts preparation for sole trader businesses, partnerships and limited companies, corporation tax returns, VAT returns and management accounts
• Communicate with clients, potential clients and all other third parties in a professional manner at all times
• Proactively offer assistance to managers and seniors
• Provide on the job training and guidance to team members reporting to the supervisors on assignments
• Keeping up to date with accounting methods and practices and an interest to further develop by undertaking accounting studies
