Back-office Clearing Clerk
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £18000 – £19000/annum
Northreach have partnered with a reputable and successful international bank in Harrow looking for 2 Clearance Clerks to ensure all back-office activities are completed in a timely and risk free manner.
The Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure inward faster payments entries to tally with NatWest account statement
* Ensure all the inward cheques and direct debits are processed and return are submitted on time to avoid risk/loss to the Bank
* Check whether stop payments are in place and actioned when it comes for
payment
* Check and authorise the entries related to debit card transactions
* Ensure customer chargeback queries are taken up with MasterCard on time and
tracking of chargeback on a regular basis
* Ensure all customer related queries are attended in CRM
The Main Experience:
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong knowledge and experience of Finacle and other banking applications
* Strong knowledge of banking regulations and the AML and KYC procedures
of the Bank
* Experience working within retail banking
