Security & General Maintenance Worker
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum + On-site Accommodation + Benefits
SECURITY & GENERAL MAINTENANCE WORKER – PREMIUM DRINKS PRODUCER -FAST-GROWING BUSINESS – COMPETITIVE SALARY + ON-SITE ACCOMMODATION
We are working with a growing business with several facilities across the South East.
Following recent growth, the company are looking to recruit someone to provide security and maintenance support across their main estate
Reporting into and working closely with the Facilities & Maintenance Manager, you will complete a variety of maintenance work and provide on-site security for the premises . You will:
* Provide on-site security for the operation, ensuring the safety and security of the premises and employees on site
* Ensure the safety and security of all visitors to the business
* Complete general maintenance work and landscaping as required across the business estate
* Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are complied with
* Identify and resolve any noticed defaults
* Provide accurate reports, including any budget and spend forecasts
* Maintain and improve Hard & Soft facilities
* Assist gardening teams
* Form part of the on-site security team, providing day and night cover for the premises and staff
* Be first point of contact for any alarm activations
* Keyholder responsibilities
The business is looking for a highly efficient and conscientious individual with a hands-on approach and can work on their own initiative and complete the required tasks efficiently and effectively. Ideally you will:
* Have some security training / experience, or have gained experience within the Armed Forces or Police environments.
* Have a hands-on approach with good general maintenance and/or landscaping skills
* Have experience dealing with maintenance issues across a diverse estate portfolio
* Have experience operating a wide variety of equipment and power tools for both external and internal use
* Be used to working both inside and outdoor, across all weathers and delivering results in a timely and effective manner
