Here's your opportunity to make a difference! We're seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our students.

Position: Catering Assistant

Schedule: 5 days a week, 2 hours a day

We are working with an SEN school in Knaresborough committed to nurturing our students' growth in every way. As a Catering Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our students receive well-balanced meals that support their development and learning.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and students' needs.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area.
Assist in meal planning and ingredient preparation.
Engage with students in a friendly and respectful manner during meal times.
Collaborate with the school's staff to address any dietary or special requirements.
Contribute to a positive and inclusive dining atmosphere.
Qualifications

Experience in catering or food service is desirable but not essential.
Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
Understanding of dietary restrictions and allergies.
Passion for working with students in an SEN setting.
Non-negotiables for the role

3 months minimum residency in the UK with Right to Work (we do not offer Visa Sponsorship)
Overseas Crimincal Clearance where required
Child enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Prior experience supporting teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
