School Catering Assistant (Dinner Lady)

School Catering Assistant Required in Chiswick
Days: Monday to Thursday (term time only)
Hours: 10:30 am to 1:30pm
Our client is looking for an immediate start for a School catering assistant on the long term, daily basis.
The school is based in the Chiswick W3 area, close to very good public transport, including free car parking space on site.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in schools and in a kitchen/catering environment.
Our client is small Primary and Secondary SEN school
Responsibilities & Duties:
* School has catering company who provides food on a daily basis
* Setting up and serving of meals in line with food hygiene regulations
* Clean kitchen equipment and dining furniture as required in designated areas prior and after the seatings
* Loading and unloading the dishwasher
* Assist with the moving and setting up of dining furniture in designated areas
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, food hygiene and COSSH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations at all times
* Conducting yourself on a professional level when communicating with students and staff

Requirements
* To have or be willing to obtain a DBS certificate on the update service
* Provide a minimum of two references to cover the last 24 months of employment
