Remuneration: £50,000-£55,000 Neg. + 20% bonus

The role of the Key Account Manager – Paint and Woodcare will involve:
* Field sales position, selling a manufactured range of predominantly paint but also some woodcare products
* Ultimately you will be responsible for 2-3 large retail customers such as B&Q, Screwfix, Wickes, Homebase, Toolstation, Robert Dyas etc.
* Revenue responsibility circa £2m-£3m per accounts
* 1st 3 months you will shadow an existing field sales based Key Account Manager and spend the majority of your time trying to develop new business with some new large retail accounts for our client
* One day a fortnight working ot of our clients’ Kent based offices
* You will be responsible for product training and new product implementation
The ideal applicant will be a Key Account Manager – Paint and Woodcare with:
* Ideally sold paint or woodcare products
* Also open to any other field sales experience with large retailer/ DIY chains (sheds)
* Must be a driven self-starter
* Excellent relationship builder who is also capable of new business development
* Knowledge of paint or wood and floor care products is not essential as full product training will be provided
* Ideally some structured sales training
* Enthusiastic, committed and intelligent
* Excellent field sales territory planning capability
