Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £28000 – £35000/annum + Commission

Our client, who supplies high quality products to the retail industry, is looking to recruit an energetic, driven, Sales Account Manager, reporting directly to the Sales Manager.
You will be responsible for developing a sales pipeline, negotiating and managing existing business relationships with the primary focus of winning and developing new business opportunities.
Duties of the role will include:
* Identifying/targeting sales leads
* Building/maintaining relationships with clients as well as prospecting clients, understanding their needs
* Meeting with clients virtually, in person and via telephone calls and emails
* Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
* Demonstrating/presenting products
* Negotiating on price/cost/delivery/specifications with buyers and managers
* Attending trade exhibitions/conferences/meetings
* Working towards monthly/quarterly/annual targets
* Recording sales and order information, entering data into a computer system
Special Requirements:
* Previous B2B sales experience
* The ability/desire/drive to sell
* Excellent oral/written communication skills
* A positive, confident, determined approach
* A high degree of self-motivation and ambition
* Skills to work independently and as part of a team
* A good level of numeracy and literacy
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Proactive and positive, with the ability to manage own workload efficiently, prioritising tasks effectively
* Reliable, remaining calm under pressure and approachable
