Sales Representative

My client is a well established, employee owned, firm based in Loughborough
They are now looking for an experienced Sales Representative to join their friendly team, on a full time, permanent basis
You will be required to cover the UK
The following attributes are required for the role of Sales Representative
* A proven track record in sales and show significant sales growth in a previous sales role.
* Have a proven record of working to and exceeding sales targets.
* Demonstrate the ability to overcome customer objections and reintroduce lapsed accounts.
* Have experience of selling at all levels, from Fitter to Director.
* Have strong time management skills with the ability to forward plan and make appointments.
* Be self motivated, with a strong work ethic and enthusiastic.
* Have technical sales experience ideally within the hydraulic and pneumatic industry.
Main Responsibilities/Accountabilities
* Daily calls to potential new clients and existing list of clients to build a pipeline of prospective business
* Maintain CRM database. Updating information on new and existing clients tracking, recording and storing customer information on customers.
* Identify and obtain new business including New Accounts, local customers and large product supply opportunities.
* Comply with all reporting requirements on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
* Attend all scheduled sales meetings and participate where necessary.
* Coordinate and oversee in Area Sales Focus activities
* Raise the profile and awareness of the Brand.
* Maintain all customer visit reports into CRM system
* Actively share ideas and information for the benefit of the company
Person Specification
* Must be motivated, positive and focused on providing a reliable and consistent service at all times.
* The ideal candidate will be organised, thorough and an excellent time manager.
* Training will be provided and the candidate should be willing to embrace new opportunities for development.
* The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills as well as excellent customer facing manner.
* Computer literate
* Have excellent communication skills
* Experience within the Hydraulic/Pneumatic Sector ideally, however previous sales experience is essential
* A full clean UK Driving Licence is required
