Sage 200 Consultant

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £40000 – £50000/annum + car allowance

New opportunity for a Sage 200 Consultant with well-rounded experience of the financial & commercial aspects, to join one of the UK's top Sage Partners in a home based role. £40-50k + car. They would look at £55k if you also have team management experience, and have been a team leader of a small group of Sage 200 Consultants. Great place to work, plenty of top of the range technology to enable you to operate comfortably and effectively from home, and a busy order book.

Ideally you will live south of the Midlands as that is where the majority of the work is. So that could be Newbury which is purely a pinpoint, or towards Bristol, London, the East of England, the South East, Midlands or South West. There will be some travel to client sites, as and when it is allowed.

As a Sage 200 Consultant here you will cover the full life cycle from requirements, business process reviews, configuration, implementation and training, as well as report writing and post go-live support. You will also work with internal teams to deliver software upgrades, and generate tailored reports, utilising tools such as Sage Report Writer and Crystal Reports. You will provide complete implementation services for Sage 200 and other related 3rd party software packages and add-ons.

Additional experience of any products from Sicon, Eureka, Draycir or Codis would all be warmly welcomed, as would expertise in Sage Manufacturing, Sage Construct, Sage Project Accounting, SQL or SQL Server, Sage Report Writer, or Sage CRM. It all helps. They will train you fully in Sicon Manufacturing, which will add another string to your bow.

You will work with a strong team of PM's, Pre-Sales people, Consultants and Support staff, they have a pipeline of new deals, and a solid sales team, plus they have account managers looking after the existing clients. So everyone is still very busy here. Plus, the company still manages to have fun after work with lots of virtual events and socials.

Hopefully you are a decent Sage Consultant, still full of enthusiasm, you are motivated, well organised and professional and you really enjoy working with Sage 200 and its associated products. You have worked for a software reseller, vendor or consultancy, you like talking to clients and can deal empathetically with their problems and pan points.

Happy clients, and happy consultants make for a great working environment.
