Our client is an Ambitious, Award-winning Consultancy providing support and advice to a range of clients delivering large scale complex infrastructure projects. They are currently seeking an experienced Safety Assurance Engineer to join their team. Applications are welcome from people in all UK locations, Toronto (Canada) or Dublin (Ireland).
The Opportunity
This is a busy and challenging but rewarding role for an experienced Safety Assurance Engineer. You will be joining a well-established, respected team of professionals in a supportive and progressive working environment.
The role will involve working with delivery teams, customers, regulatory bodies and other major stakeholders. You will be involved in managing resources and delivery of tasks. This role will require excellent communication and relationship-building skills and a demonstrable track record of Rail System Safety expertise.
You will be a Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) or working towards chartership and a Rail System Safety Expert with a strong track record of success in working with delivery teams, customers, regulatory bodies and other major stakeholders. You will also have the following skills and expertise:
* A demonstrable track record of working in Safety in the RAIL industry (essential)
* Demonstrable managerial capability with accountability for resources and task delivery
* Safety Verification
* Common safety method/CSM RA
* Hazard Management / Hazid/Hazop
* Safety Requirements
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong influencing and relationship-building skills
