Global Recruitment are looking to speak with experienced quantity surveyors from the construction industry.
Our Client Often known as the experts for specialist fabrication and installation services, they pride themselves on their quality and service. their factory is equipped to deal with the challenges of modern construction and their 18,000ft building allows them to undertake large and often complex projects with ease.
With in-house design facilities and full project management teams, coupled with a workforce which carries, as a minimum, CSCS qualification and Site managers who have CITB SMSTS, There company is able to meet the most demanding of requirements from their Blue chip client base.
Location – Glasgow
Rate Of Pay – Up To £45,000 Per Annum
Job Description –
·Take commercial ownership of the project from estimating following contract award.
·Produce internal commercial budget and commercial strategy for incorporation into the Project Execution Plan for successful project delivery.
·Prepare, submit and agree monthly applications for payments as well as monitoring and ensuring prompt payment.
·Ensure all contractual notices and procedures within the contract are adhered to and fulfilled.
·Ensure project compliance with all internal commercial and contractual governance.
·Liaise and provide commercial support to the internal buying department in the procurement of materials and any sub-contracted elements.
Suitable Candidate –
·3 years or more years’ experience working as a quantity surveyor or in a similar role.
·Experienced working in a steelworks environment (distinct advantage)
·Real self-starter with a passion for their work.
·Good Communication & people skills is essential
·Fast Learner & hard worker
