Senior Estimator

JN Technical are recruiting an experienced Senior Estimator for a well established steel fabricator. The successful Senior Estimator will have overall responsibility for converting enquiries into manufacturing packages. In light of this we are looking for professional and personable applicants with a minimum of 5 years experience in the steel fabrication sector.
Senior Estimator Job Description:
– Read technical tender drawings.
– Extract and price materials.
– Decide best process route for the items to be fabricated.
– Establish supply chain costs to be included in tenders.
– Generate quotation documents and send to clients.
– Liaise with customer.
– Negotiate and complete tenders to sales.
– Ensure the Company CRM system is accurately maintained.
– Build up a consistent system of market prices
– Build up a system using synthetics of the various activities
– Develop a common estimating template
– Provide a timely response and an exceptional level of service to all enquiries.
– Build relationships with clients and recognise new business opportunities.
– Communicate with Clients and Projects Teams.
– Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills, meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to multi-task
