The purpose of this role is to provide assurance that customer and regulatory compliance is being achieved throughout operational activities.
Deliver compliance with a focus on continuous improvement to enable a proactive approach to Quality Assurance and best practice.
The role:
* Provide oversight and assurance on operational, subcontractor / supplier compliance and legislative requirements, focusing predominantly on safety and quality
* Manage FAI Forecast and FAI plan to ensure all FAI activity is planned and coordinated with the Operations function
* Complete / Approve First Article Inspection Reports
* Perform incoming inspection activities as required
* Identifying and diagnosing workmanship problems in Production processes using 5 why’s or similar method and leading CAPA activities.
* Conduct any audits as per the agreed audit plan and as required by business demands
* Initiate RTV rejects and SCARS
About you:
* Previous experience within a Manufacturing facility for electronics/electromechanical products – quality or compliance role – ideally within the Aerospace industry
* Electronic manufacture background and AS9100
* IRCA Internal auditor – desirable
* Enthusiastic and willing to embrace a challenge
