We currently have a vacancy for a passionate, qualified and proactive QHSE Advisor to join our team.
Your duties will include but are not exclusive to:
* Working to WB Power Services Ltd procedures and using our own bespoke systems in accordance with all quality accreditations ISO 9001, 14001 and OHAS 45001
* Being a Business Partner to our largest operational division being the first point of contact for everything QHSE related
* Assisting with audits, both internal and external
* Investigating any near misses, hazards or accidents using our own non conformance system producing conclusive reports, suggestions and putting in place corrective measures in conjunction with Head of QHSE
* Holding relevant Managers to account for performance of their team where you deem processes are not being adhered to
* Feed into deartment monthly KPIs
* Working with the QHSE auditor to assist and provide contingency cover where needed
* Attend Head Office (currently DE75 soon to move to NG16) on a weekly basis or as required
* Method statements and risk assessments as required
* Keeping up to date with the latest legislative changes fully utilising specialist support Company has
* Work with the Technical Director, and Heads of HyperScale Delivery and Project Delivery to ensure teams are completing required documentation on time and in full
* Construction phase plan compliance and ensuring site managers are really owning documents and exuding this information
* Proactive QHSE presence working with all operatives
* Feeding into the authoring of toolbox talks and supporting site managers in the delivery of these
Essential criteria:
NEBOSH qualified
At least 5 years site & CDM experience
Exposure to quality accreditation's
Key skills:
* Organised
* Motivated
* Keen to learn
* Computer literate
* Passionate and driven
* Exceptional communication skills with all levels of the business
* Comfortable carrying out training sessions where necessary
* Ability to get colleagues to understand requirements where necessary and to insist procedures and processes are followed
