Urgent recruitment post; An ambitious and experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk is required for a facilities company based in Digbeth, just outside Birmingham City Centre.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 05:00pm with one hour for lunch.

Main duties
You will be required to administer and maintain the overall purchase ledger function and its associated tasks. This will include:
· Posting invoices and verifying them against relevant purchase orders
· Raising and dealing with supplier queries
· Analysing purchase invoices to ensure validity
· Reconciling supplier statements to the system
· Processing payments for a monthly payment run
· Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure the accounts department is always up to date
· Ad hoc tasks as and when required
Experience required
* Computer literate in the Microsoft Office suite of programs, especially Excel
* Adjusted to working in a fast-paced accounts department
* Exceptional attention to detail
* The will to go the extra mile
* The ability to work in a team but also independently
* Good self-organisation
* Sage 200 an advantage
Experience:
* purchase ledger: 2 years (preferred)
