Salary : £27663 – £27664/annum

This North Devon company are well established and respected in the production and distribution of farm animal specialised feeds. 
 
Salary: £27,663.00 per year
 
Main duties/ Responsibilities
1. Undertake all production operations from Raw Materials In through to Finished Products Loading, ensuring performance is maximised in the areas of cost, quality, service, Health & safety, people and site compliance.
2. Operation of a raw material weighbridge and intake requirements.
3. To ensure raw material figures are correct and shunted when required. Maintain good bay practices to eliminate cross contamination.
4. Raw material monitoring including RM substitutions, and run outs – Most cost effective and suitable for the formulation.
5. Produce high quality products at all times whilst optimising, amongst others, power usage, moisture control, raw material usage, finished product quality.
6. QA activities to ensure quality products at all times – Samples taken accurately and entered onto the system. Any issues raised with the team leader.
7. Ensure adequate finished product is loaded efficiently and correctly to fulfil customer orders on time and in full. Escalate any issues to production co Ordinator and operations manager.
8. Ensure adequate finished product is bagged out to the correct quality and quantity and stored in the out loading shed and racking area safely. Escalate any issues to production co Ordinator and operations manager.
9. Accurate data entry on systems and on site operational and compliance documentation.
10. Routine maintenance tasks (die changes, magnets, and oiling/greasing, etc).
11. To assist Health & Safety in the manufacturing area – Hazards, damages and incidents are reported and recorded.
12. Excellent Cleaning and Housekeeping standards.
13. Provide adequate level of cover to maintain operational processes.
14. All duties must be carried out to comply with: – Health & Safety at work act, legal requirements, Company policy and standard operating procedures.

Starting Salary – £27,662.96
Hours – 12 hour day 48 hour shift.
Current Shift Pattern – 4 on days, 4 days off, 4 on nights, 4 days off and the pattern repeats again
Overtime required – to help cover holiday and sickness. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
