They are a young ethical business not seeking short term large profits but managing long term commitments to socially responsible farming practices for all of our future generations. They are continuously developing and building the business and are constantly looking for growers who want to share their success. As part of their growth plan, they are now ready to source a great Product Manager to join their team.

Job Purpose and Scope:

Your key role is to manage all products that our clients’ businesses sources majoring on fresh produce, packaging and materials. As such you will be a great and effective communicator working to the highest level with amazing attention to detail. The job requires someone fluid and able to adapt quickly with a strategic and tactical mind.

Main Duties:

* Responsible for all communication and data from growers/suppliers and customers for the businesses. Covering:

* Retail, Wholesale customers

* Online customers

* Global grower base

* P&L responsible for the stock status and balance for all Produce and Packaging

* Manage Customs and Tariff paperwork and process

* Act as the primary link to the Production and Quality Teams, ensuring all data is correct and filtered where needed for a smooth operation 7 days a week

* Maintain client databases and track performance

Skills, Experience & Qualifications That We Are Keen to See:

* Proven experience and success in stock control

* Superb written and verbal communication skills

* Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability

* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Rubicon ERP Software, with an aptitude to learn new software and systems

* Solid interpersonal skills

* Experience managing team requests

* Experience developing internal processes and filing systems

* Comfortable handling confidential information

* Ability to adapt to changing situations in a calm and professional manner

* Language experience in Spanish would be great to have….not essential…but just great….

The role requires brilliant attention to detail and does require weekend work (on a rota basis). As the business changes, so can the working hours and as such this may require a later working finish or starting earlier to ensure the business operates to the highest standard at the normal peaks times of the calendar year
