Product Developer Job in Lymington
Dovetail Recruitment are excited to be working with a product based company in Lymington who are going from strength to strength. They are now looking for a new Product Developer join their busy office and become an integral part of this creative product focused business.
The Product Developer will be creative, with hands on experience of product development delivering projects for clients in the FMCG sector. You will develop great relationships with factories in the Far East and will ensure projects are fitting the client’s brief.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Product Developer:
* Manage development process of new and existing products from initial concept through all stages of development to manufacture
* Development and delivery of multiple products, tracking critical paths
* Manage costs, profit margins, schedule workflow and product samples
* Conduct research and assess competitors’ products to identify important features and compare performance with equivalent company products
* Arrange samples, costs, presentations for customer meetings
* Track critical analysis / risk assessments on products during development to identify product risks and minimise exposure through specification changes
* Ability to work within tight budgets, understanding what is achievable within that budget
* Work closely with factories and clients
Minimum Experience Required:
* Creative with experience dealing with tangible products
* Experience managing critical paths or CPA
* FMCG industry experience
* Excellent communication skills
Salary & Benefits for Product Development Account Manager:
* Annual salary of up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience
* 22 days holiday + bank holidays
* Free parking on-site
* Hours of Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm
