People Operations Manager
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £25000 – £30000/annum
We are working with a leading Fresh Produce business to recruit a Labour Operations Manager. The Worker Operations department is responsible for the management, recruitment and worker welfare of our clients Farms seasonal workforce, ensuring that the company has seasonal workers to meet requirements to harvest multiple crops and complete associated works.
Reporting to the Farm Business Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing seasonal labour operations , implementing effective management on a daily basis helping to drive efficiency, liaising with the management team to ensure successful completion of harvesting and other works, regular performance management of seasonal workers, monitoring attendance and discipline, and all other elements related to the seasonal labour management.
The position may require the individual to perform other general duties from time to time that is reasonably within their capability.

Additional Information
This is a permanent role, with a competitive pay. The workload and tasks will vary dependent on the time of season.
Hours will vary between 40 and 48 hours of work on a weekly basis, with workload up to 60 hours in a week during the peak period. The successful candidate will be required to be flexible with working hours, with weekend work required. This role offers 28 days holiday pro-rata.
