These services include but are not limited to environmental, housing repairs and facilities management. We are now seeking experienced and qualified Arborists to carry out tree works as part of a wider team to Harlow Council tree stock and for external partners or clients effectively, safely and according to specifications with the use of appropriate machinery and equipment, working to current industry standards.
Therefore, you must have arboricultural/forestry experience and tree climbing experience with the use of chainsaw, along with the following certification: NPTC CS30.1/30.2, NPTC CS31, NPTC CS38.
A full valid UK driving licence is also essential. You need to have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team and be comfortable communicating with clients where necessary.

Essential
* Emergency First Aid at Work
* Arboricultural/Forestry Experience
* NPTC CS30.1/30.2 or equivalent: Chainsaw Maintenance, Cross Cutting
* NPTC CS31 or equivalent: Felling & processing trees of small trees
* NPTC CS38 or equivalent: Climb trees and perform aerial rescue
* Tree climbing experience with use of chainsaw
* Knowledge and understanding of health & safety
* Comply with LOLER & PEWER Regulations
* Have an awareness and understanding of COSHH
* Have good written and verbal communication skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Hold a valid Full Driving Licence
* Neat and tidy in appearance
* Be physically fit
* Able to work out in all weather
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
* Able to use own initiative
Desirable
* Emergency First Aid +F (Forestry)
* IPAF Licenced MEWP operator
* NTPC CS39 or equivalent: Operate a chainsaw from rope and harness
* NPTC’s or equivalent in any of 32, 34, 40, 41, 47, 48
* Traffic Management (nrswa unit 002 signing, lighting and guarding) – Chapter
* Driving Licence Categories C + E (LGV + Towing)
