NLB Solutions are working with a large business that are looking for a new Payroll Supervisor to support the day to day running of a payroll team of 4. The business have a large number of individuals on a weekly payroll. They have got back to pre-pandemic levels of payroll and are looking forward to the new growth opportunities that lay ahead. With a Payroll Manager that will be involved with projects and systems improvements, this role is going to involved with development and training of staff as well as the day to day management of duties, queries and payroll itself. The business need someone that is involved in a high volume environment where there is weekly payroll activities. This is not a role for someone that is only dealing with monthly salaried staff.
The business have a culture that is looking to develop individuals and give them the chance to grow and help other grow going forward. The management are looking for leaders to take them on to the next phase of the businesses growth.
Duties:
* Administer and runs all payrolls in line with policies and deadlines
* Ensure all payrolls are efficiently, effectively, accurately processed
* Ensure all are staff are paid on time working to strict deadlines
* Ensure all starter and leavers information is maintained and updated in line with agreed timelines
* Ensure all timesheets are on time and accurate
* Take ownership of statutory deductions
* Work closely with operations to resolve queries
* Comply with all HMRC requirements
* Provide support to senior managers as required
* Manage the day to day staffing and duties as they arise
Person Spec:
* Must come from large weekly payroll environment
* Ideally IPPM qualified
* Experience of staff supervision or management in a payroll environment
* Excellent communications skills
* Hands on payroll experience
