VIENNOISERIE PASTRY CHEF NEEDED FULL-TIME IN LITTLE CHALFONT
Are you a talented pastry chef looking to take your skills to the next level, or a senior pastry chef searching for a fresh opportunity? We are currently seeking an individual with expertise in laminating pastry, crafting croissants, and mastering puff pastry for a day role in our esteemed pastry department.
WHAT IS ON OFFER
Responsibilities:
* Lead the day shift in our pastry department, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency in all products.
* Utilize extensive experience in viennoiserie, croissants, Danish pastries, tarts, cakes, and biscuit bars to create delectable treats for our customers.
* Oversee the day shift rota, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet production demands.
* Manage stock levels and coordinate the distribution of goods to our branches.
* Collaborate closely with other team members to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
* Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, with a focus on viennoiserie, croissants, Danish pastries, tarts, cakes, and biscuit bars.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
* A passion for creating high-quality pastries and desserts.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
* Salary: £32,000 to £35,000 per year (Negotiable depending on skill & experience)
* Free parking
* 28 days Holiday including bank holidays
* Complimentary meals on duty
WORK TIMES
* 5 days a week (including 1 weekend day, preferably a Sunday)
* 42.5 working hours per week
* 7am to 4pm (Including a 30-minute break)
STRICT REQUIREMENTS!
* YOU MUST have at least 3 years of experience as a pastry chef.
* YOU MUST possess expert skills in laminated dough, crafting croissants, Danish pastries, tarts, cakes, and various pastry techniques.
* YOU MUST have reliable transport options to ensure punctual attendance at work.
