Wilson Recruitment Ltd have been commissioned to source an Group Executive Manager to work for a family run business owned by a Chef who has been providing a prestigious service to some of the country’s finest venues to include illustrious stately homes and luxury venues.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS ROLE CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE COMMUTABLE BETWEEN LONDON AND KETTERING

Role
• Group Executive Manager
• Full time and permanent contract
• Be responsible for the group to include 12 Chefs (CDP-Head) and 7 events managers
• Provide support for the junior staff in helping with the food preparation process
• Represent the company by attending client meetings and be accountable for costings, budgets, planning the whole operation, orders and growth of the business

Rota
• 45hours per week
• Flexible hours
• Over 45 hours, overtime paid
• Tuesday to Saturday inclusive
• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday to be based in Northamptonshire
• Friday and Saturday to be based on Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, London, Bedfordshire or Buckinghamshire depending on the venue location

Salary
The salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications, we are looking at c.£50k-£60k based on 45 hours per week plus overtime when required.

Candidate requirements
• Executive or very Senior Head Chef (with managerial) experience
• Should have a minimum 10 years kitchen experience, be innovative and up to date with food trends
• Will be calm under pressure, have a passion for presentation, be a team player and willing to get stuck in where required
• Must be a driver with a clean licence (or no more than 6 points) and have access to a reliable vehicle as there will be a lot of travel involved with this role
• Shall come from a large hotel or events background, some of the events will require a sit down meal for up to 1000 guests
• Can provide employment history, references and proof of in date L2 or higher in Food Safety
• Should be physically fit and willing to support the events team with any heavy lifting
