Orbis Education and Care are a sector-leader in providing education and care for adults and children with needs associated with Autism.  Set within large grounds in the beautiful town of Pembroke Dock, Bangeston Hall are looking for a part-time chef to join their energetic and friendly team.  
 
Being a chef for Bangeston Hall will give you an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable people whilst also putting your skills and experience as a chef to great use.
Whilst no two days are the same, a typical day in the life of a chef at Orbis Care will involve:

To ensure the smooth running of the kitchen
To store, prepare and serve food and beverage items in Accordance with all Food Handling and Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
Daily cleaning of all areas of the kitchen in accordance with the Units schedules and specifications, using appropriate equipment, chemicals, and work methods
To ensure Documentation duties and procedures are maintained for efficiency and accuracy i.e. temperature of food and equipment
Ensure all equipment is maintained and cleaned in the appropriate manner. Report any maintenance problems to the Managers as soon as any problems occur, keeping an accurate record.As we provide full training, experience isn’t required. To be successful in a career with Orbis all you’ll need is:

The ability to work flexibly.Catering Diploma (City & Guilds/BTEC)
Level 3 Food Hygiene 
Significant experience with line management responsibilities 
Ideally you'll have experience in a care home setting, although desirable this is not essential
