Multi Skilled Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £34000/annum Holiday and Pension
Our client, a market leading manufacturer in their field, have a vacancy for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work within Engineering department.
The successful candidate will form part of a team providing maintenance to all production functions, supporting efforts to maximise output and reduce machine down time, ensuring safe working practice and adherence to maintenance schedules.
Main duties include:
* Provision of maintenance support to all manufacturing operations
* Provision of engineering related project work as and when required
* The upkeep and maintenance of good health and safety practices
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a flexible approach to their work and be able to prioritise tasks.

Main duties and responsibilities:
* Diagnosing faults and repairing equipment.
* Ensuring that Health and Safety procedures are adhered to regarding buildings and equipment.
* Checking the fire alarm points weekly, including fire exits.
* Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer.
* Good electrical skills18th Edition is desirable / mechanical maintenance knowledge.
* Sourcing components, fixtures, or fittings.
* Maintaining asset records and other records as required.
* Creating maintenance procedures.
* Managing consumable stocks.
* Some welding.
* Carrying out and organising routine maintenance inspections.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Efficiency and organisational skills and team working skills.
* Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement practices and problem-solving skills would be advantageous
* Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
Working Hours – 07:30 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday
07:30 – 13:30 Friday
Holidays 33 days including Bank Holidays
