Opportunity at a Glance
The Marketing Specialist, Events is responsible for the successful implementation of Event Marketing Campaigns in-line with the global marketing approach. This person will be responsible for performing end-to-end campaign management, project management, and ensuring a high level of consistency across regional and global events. As well as supporting with the global B2B approach and sponsorship promotions.
This is a fun and fast paced position that will suit someone who is dynamic, creative and willing to take on challenges in an agile business with big goals.
Key responsibilities include:

Campaigns – Development of end-to-end campaigns for events. Including marketing direction, briefing the design team, social media, EDMs, brochures and paid media.

Copywriting – The ability to write convincing copy for campaigns that sells. Strong research skills are a must, so that we can write marketing copy that delves into what our events cover.

B2B marketing – Supporting the global B2B marketing approach for events.
*
Stakeholder engagement – work with a large range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure all aspects are delivered on time.

Sponsorship – Supporting the global sponsorship marketing promotion campaign. Including promotional material and campaigns on sponsorship offerings.

Global harmonization – Support the global approach to marketing events – ensuring guidelines are adhered too while recognizing local nuances.

Customer experience – Enhance and strengthen the live experience (both in-person and virtual) for all events – ensuring the experience is continuously improved).

Creative vision – Develop design briefs and work with internal brand team to implement, ensuring design requirements are scoped and delivered on time.

Project management – Manage project-based tasks for global events, event launches, and other promotional campaigns.

Reporting – Produce and deliver reports (written/verbal) on various aspects of events
Key requirements:
*
Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, communications, or equivalent experience required
*
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Marcomms role, preferably in Finance industry
*
Demonstrated Conference/Events Marketing experience
*
Project management experience, with evidence of consistent delivery to fixed deadlines
*
Exceptional attention to detail, enthusiasm and initiative, and ability to bring fresh ideas into marketing campaigns
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
*
Proficiency in Oracle Eloqua, Salesforce and understanding of basic CRM strategies and practices.

Fluent Written and Spoken English
