Logistics Manager
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £40000/annum
Logistics Manager required for a leading technology solutions provider based in Egham. Salary up to £40,000, Hybrid working, Private Healthcare, 20 days holiday, plus a day off for your birthday and Welfare day with the option to purchase 5 more days annual leave.
The Logistics Manager will drive operational excellence and ensure a seamless logistical workflow including planning, warehouse and Inventory management, carrier relationship management, staffing, and continuous optimization of logistics and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse shipping and fulfilment costs to identify potential cost savings through renegotiated agreements, new warehouse partners, and other systems or process improvements.
* Audit fulfilment and shipping invoices to ensure accuracy and consistency
* Develop strategic plans to improve the productivity, quality, and efficiency of shipping and warehouse operations while maintaining excellent customer experience
* Have the ability to see and create the bigger long-term picture yet quickly implement and iterate to drive impact
* Working with procurement manager and customer to meet delivery requirements
* Enforcing regulations and company policies
* Travel to Europe to other warehouses where necessary
* Level of import and export of goods
The Successful Candidate will have:
* 6+ years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, distribution, or fulfilment.
* 3+ years of team management experience
* Extremely organized and detail-oriented
* Humility and eagerness to learn and grow
* Knowledge of Customs legislation or strong understanding of freight forwarding
* Customs clearance checks
* An approachable, professional nature
* Team player with the ability to work with other stakeholders
* Excellent time management and ability to work well under pressure
