Salary : £19000 – £23000/annum DOE

Sue Ross Legal are currently working with a leading firm of Solicitors in South Yorkshire who are seeking a Legal Secretary to join their Personal Injury team.
The successful candidate will provide secretarial support to their department, assisting a Solicitor with various tasks such as preparing correspondence and documents through audio-typing and copy-typing, diary management, and general administrative duties. You will have a good understanding of Personal Injury matters, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills.
Responsibilities:
* Answering incoming calls and dealing with general enquiries
* Preparing legal letters, and bundles for Court
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, and external organisations as required
* Opening, closing, and maintaining client files in accordance with company procedures
* Managing fee earners' diaries, scheduling appointments, and arranging meetings
* Covering reception where required
* Handling the incoming and outgoing post
* Filing and cataloguing documents
* Time recording
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a legal secretary, preferably in a Personal Injury department
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and other professionals
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and legal software
* A good understanding of the legal processes involved in Personal Injury matters
