Sue Ross Legal are working with a specialist PI firm based in Doncaster who are recruiting a Litigation Assistant to join their Claimant RTA team.
This role focuses on dealing with more complex cases where a case may need to be issued at court under the Small Claims process, reviewing evidence received and forming appropriate arguments to reach eventual settlement for your client.
You will be responsible for the running cases from liability response to completion and duties will include;
* Running a case load on the OIC Portal, along with dealing with files that require issuing under the Small Claims process
* Liaising with clients to obtain and relay information/updates
* Liaising with Insurers, other Third Parties and their representatives
* Arranging medical examinations
* Obtaining and reviewing all evidence from clients, third parties and police etc.
* Valuing cases
* Negotiating settlements
* Drafting legal documents
To be considered for this role you will need to have experience gained within a similar PI/claims role. You must have the ability to manage a large work load, and have previous experience of case handling and drafting of legal documents.
