The opportunity:
We are looking for a dedicated Private Client Solicitor/ Lawyer who is confident in undertaking fee-earning work as set by the Head of Department. The successful candidate will a self-starter with experience in working with wills and estates, trusts, wealth management and probate. Extensive knowledge of private client matters will be necessary.
You will need to be an empathic communicator as well as have initiative, motivation, and drive to add value to the team!
Key tasks include:
* To undertake private client fee-earning work and to contribute to the business and financial objectives of the practice.
* To participate in the marketing activities of the practice as instructed by the Head of Department and the Head of Marketing.
* To achieve financial targets set by Head of Finance and Head of Department
* To receive and process instructions in private client matters and to undertake client work in accordance with the firm's practice.
* To report regularly Head of Department particularly with regard to complex matters or matters involving key clients.
* To provide cover for colleagues in the Private Client Department who are absent.
* To undertake such training as the Head of Department may direct.
* To train other junior fee earners where appropriate

* Knowledge and proven experience working with private client law.
* At least 18 months PQE
