The Role of the Lawn Technician
Providing regular lawn care treatments.
Upselling additional services.
Giving customers advice on lawn care.
Lots of opportunities in the area.
Using tried and tested marketing techniques to gain more customers.
Offering incentives for existing and new customers to get more business.
You will be responsible for maximizing growth in sales and the profitability in the assigned territory in the area.
You will strive to reach and surpass the set objectives.
Area Covers Rutland, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire
£22,000 basic, Company Van, OTE £3K based on hitting target (28 Days annual leave, Company pension scheme
The Ideal Person – The Lawn Technician
Ideally you will have experience of lawn care, e.g. Greenthumb, Joes Lawns etc.
Ideally you will have PA1 and PA6 spraying certificate.
You will need to be reliable.
Time keeping is essential.
You will need to prepare your van in the afternoon/evening for the next day.
You will need to check in and check out using mobile phone software.
You will need to have the ability to think about the next days jobs and getting the chemicals and equipment on the van the day before.
You will need to sort out workload for the following day and print out invoices – printer provided.
You will need to communicate with the admin person about any problems so that she can communicate with customers, to keep customers updated on the day or before.
Self-motivated, driven, organised, ability to cope well in unexpected situations, ability to utilise information provided as useful sales tools.
Need to be computer literate and hold a valid UK driver’s license.
Induction and product training will be provided, additional training will be required as required, example CRM, SA5, Mobile Live software etc.
