Contracts & Supply Manager – Feedstock/Agricultural plant
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £45000 – £50000/annum
Responsibility for the management of feedstock contracts, data, stock planning, new site integration, reporting and continuous improvement. Fully remote role but with ad-hoc essential travel for meetings across the midlands and to Surrey. Newly created role due to expansion reporting to the Head of Feedstock based in Rutland – proximity to Rutland would be ideal but not essential.
Contracts & Supply Manager – About The Role
* Designing and scoping feedstock supply and digestate offtake contracts and managing compliance with all contracts in place
* Planning and budgeting for the supply of crops to plants to include feed planning, sustainability considerations and cost analysis, in liaison with other internal departments
* Oversee implementation and management of data capture systems and processes with overall responsibility for feedstock reporting (internally and externally)
* Analyse viability of new site acquisitions and infrastructure projects relating to feedstock
* Assist with the integration of new infrastructure and new site acquisitions into feedstock operations, in liaison with internal and external stakeholders
* Coordinate and disseminate knowledge, updates and resources relating to agricultural markets/policy, trials results, regulatory changes
The successful Contracts & Supply Manager will have/be:
* Degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline (such as Agriculture, Law or Finance)
* Relevant agricultural knowledge or experience is desirable with experience of AD desirable
* A track record of dealing with contracts and good numeracy/financial literacy
* Effective management of data
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Strong commercial and industry awareness with the ability to understand opportunities and challenges presented by the Agricultural Transition
* High level of attention to detail
* IT literate and a competent Excel user
