Acquisitions Manager – Senior Land Agent
Due to our client’s continued growth and evolution, a role has arisen for an Acquisition Manager to be based in their offices in Yorkshire. As a complete service company, they manage their projects from the initial site selection through planning, finance, construction to operation and management.
Our clients is an experienced developer in the onshore wind and solar market with multi-skilled planning, finance and construction project teams and has developed wind farms and solar parks across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for all acquisition activities for onshore wind farms including access and grid route agreements.
* Responsible for initiating landowner contact, negotiation of heads of terms and overseeing the legal process with solicitors.
* Travel to Germany will be required infrequently, but no German language skills are needed.
Requirements:
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Strong negotiator
* Experience of legal contracts
* Rural land agency/surveying experience
