Kitchen Porter

Salary : £11.44/hour
Job description
It is a 42.5-week contract per year. Shifts are 5/7 No Sundays. Shifts are either 7am-3.30pm or 12pm-8.30pm. Enhance DBS is essential.
Other requirements:
Allergen certificate and Food safety level 2 still in date.
At least 2 years Kitchen porter experience in the UK.
Job role
– Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen staff
– Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
– Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware
– Organize and store food supplies and ingredients
– Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
– Assist in receiving and storing deliveries
– Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
Requirements:
– Previous experience in a culinary or hospitality setting is preferred
– Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
– Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
– Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
