Essential Requirements
* Experience as a kitchen assistant within a school setting or similar
* Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety qualification
* Enhanced DBS – Childrens
Location: Staffordshire Area
Job Type: Full time / Part time / Flexible working
Position Overview: You will be responsible for providing a professional catering service, ensuring all high standards are maintained and that expectations are met in line with the agreed objectives.
Overall Responsibilities:
* To prepare the dining area
* To prepare the service area, hot cupboards, and other equipment
* To assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages
* To wash dishes, cutlery, tumblers, jugs, serving utensils, containers, tables, and all other catering equipment
* To serve food according to the style and type of operation
* To clean on a daily basis
* To inform the cook in charge of any defects in heavy equipment or of premises not meeting Health and Safety and/or Food Hygiene Regulation Standards
