We are currently recruiting for an Kitchen Assistant role at Ty Coryton, Cardiff which is a specialist residential school and home for young people aged 8-19 with Autistic Spectrum Condition.

A day in the life of a Kitchen Assistant with Orbis Education and Care Involves:

Assisting the Chef and ensure the smooth running of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef. 
Preparing and serving food and beverage items in Accordance with all Food Handling and Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
Daily cleaning of all areas of the kitchen, Servery and Dinner Hall in accordance with schedules and specifications, using appropriate equipment, chemicals, and work methods to a high standard.
Ensuring all equipment is maintained and cleaned in the appropriate manner.  Report any maintenance problems to the Manager as soon as any problems occur, keeping an accurate record.To be a successful Kitchen Assistant with Orbis Education and Care, you’ll need:
