IT Assistant
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum + excellent benefits
We’re currently recruiting for a Senior IT Helpdesk Assistant to join our client, an international Oil & Gas consultancy based in central London.
The main goal of this position is to provide 1st 2nd and 3rd line IT support to all employees and remote users as they use LAN and maintain the network database, systems and other application in order to ensure proper functioning of systems and networks.
This is a standalone position reporting to the IT Manager based in Holland.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of 4 years IT support experience, including 2 years 3rd line support

Our client is looking for an articulate candidate with excellent communication skills who can trouble shoot and problem solve.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the network technology, which provides comprehensive international and domestic systems service and support to all Departments, Divisions and remote users
* Recording LAN and application problems as reported by IT clients
* Assuring recorded problems are addressed and resolved in a timely fashion
* Responding to CSL requests by granting access right to network resources
* Reviewing operating and security reports generated by the LAN computing platforms
* Provide IT support to off site and remote users
* Support, maintain and enhance existing computer applications and other network systems
