Salary £20,000 – £25,000
Working hours – 8am – 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am – 1pm on a Friday.
Based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Our client design, manufacture, and market invisible loudspeakers. They are currently recruiting for an Internal Sales Engineer who will have the ability to provide input to future product development based on customer input.
Key responsibilities for the role are:-
* To answer day to day customer requirements including Live Chat functions.
* To support our clients’ customers who are typically installers of AV, Control and Smart Home products into both commercial and residential properties both from a sales and basic technical support perspective.
* To support Sales Team in creation of quotations, inputting of sales orders, liaising with customers on their requirements and develop skills to help customers specify speakers into their projects alongside the application team.
* To run demonstrations, once trained, of in house of audio solutions including Dolby Atmos Media rooms.
* To develop existing small & medium customers into larger clients and find new clients through internet research and proactive contacting.
The successful candidate will have:-
* Sales experience and a degree in Engineering in Audio or an engineering or physics related discipline.
* A good team player.
* To be self-motivated and commercially astute
* IT literate, familiar with Microsoft Office package and Adobe suite skills, video and photographic skills, or willingness to learn advantageous.
* A good telephone manner.
* Good interpersonal skills, comfortable with communicating on a proactive and reactive basis with customers and colleagues.
* Comfortable with presenting technical information, both over video calls and in live situations.
* Ability to develop appropriate skills for demonstration products to prospective clients and running installation training.
* Practical nature, with a good ear for sound systems, with ability to set up AV systems and fault find where required together with basic DIY skills such as required by customers installing the product.
* Full driving license desired
