This is a UK based contract and as such, you are required to have the Right to Work in the UK. Evidence of your Right to Work will be checked prior to interview.

This is an incredible opportunity for a communications professional with experience of delivering and evaluating communications and engagement projects to deliver real change to a world in crisis. As the world’s principal independent conservation organisation, we are campaigning hard to address some of the biggest threats to nature and biodiversity and now you can be part of the team.

As Internal Communications Manager, you will help develop the mechanisms to celebrate successes, bring clarity and transparency to changes, and facilitate two-way engagement, so that our people can share their stories, be actively consulted on change projects and have reasons to feel proud about working for us. Specifically, you will focus on the delivery and measurement of engaging communication campaigns, messages and activity as well as collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to manage the development and delivery of core communication channels.

We will look to you to lead the scheduling and development of high-quality and engaging internal communications and engagement content on a weekly basis for core channels as well as measuring their impact to ensure our internal communications are evidence based and insight led. You will progress the use of online channels by maximising opportunities to support the sharing of messages and two-way engagement and interaction. You will also embed and bring our brand to life for colleagues and support champions within the organisation to support our external messaging and positioning and actively champion our commitment to DE&I throughout all of our internal communications and engagement activities.

To join the fight for our planet, you must have experience of successfully delivering and evaluating communications and engagement projects, plans and events for a range of audiences. Used to producing high quality communications, you will be comfortable partnering with departments and translating complex requirements into clear, engaging, successful and creative content opportunities.

You will possess well developed communication, planning, time management and prioritisation skills. Effective at working with and managing multiple stakeholders, you will be happy operating across matrix structures too.

A working knowledge of video editing software, such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Elements, and Photoshop / graphics editing software would be an advantage in this role.

If you are excited by the opportunity to build on your existing knowledge and experience while building a movement for nature, we would love to hear from you. Please visit our website via the link, complete the online registration and submit a copy of your up-to-date CV with the Supporting Statement highlighting what makes you a good fit for us.
