Interim Group Accountant
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £350 – £450/day £350 to £450 / day
Your new company
A listed business based in London, is looking for an audit trained contractor to assist the Group reporting team during a period of change. Reporting with a brilliant top 4 trained Group Financial Controller and working closely with the CFO and the wider FP&A team.
Your new role
Prepare monthly Group Management accounts and commentary.
Own the Group multi-currency consolidation.
Prepare an annual report and accounts, including drafting of the financial statements and all notes.
Coordination of the external audit of the accounts, including the Group audit planning process and provision of audit evidence for the consolidated accounts.
Preparation and filing of statutory accounts for UK subsidiaries.
Ensure the Group is compliant with all current accounting developments and that relevant Group stakeholders understand the impact of any changes on the business.
Ad-hoc projects as and when
What you'll need to succeed
You would have trained within a top 10 firm, and have strong audit, accounts and technical accounting experience. Happy in the detail but also supporting senior finance professionals within a listed environment. This role will offer the opportunity to become involved in a wide range of projects.
