Salary: AWB 4 £19,327 per annum + £14.30 per hour for overtime
Coleg Cambria are currently looking for a Herdsperson based at our Llysfasi site. Working safely at all times, the Herdsperson will undertake a range of farm duties including milking, livestock husbandry and machinery operation. You will work flexibly alongside other farm team members and ensure that livestock and other farm tasks such as feeding are carried out in a timely manner and to the highest possible standard. You must also ensure high levels of animal welfare are maintained at all times and undertake any other reasonable task as directed by our Farm Manager.
Essential Requirements
Recent industrial experience in agriculture
Ability to operate a range of agricultural machinery
Strong team skills
Ability to demonstrate proficiency in livestock and crop production, especially milking
Ability to demonstrate an empathy to the Welsh cultureColeg Cambria is committed to raising the profile of the Welsh language.
