Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £85000 – £95000/annum + bonus + benefits

We are searching for a entrepreneurial Procurement Leader with a flair for storytelling who will be instrumental in shaping the procurement strategy across a diverse range of services.

Reporting directly to the Group Procurement Director, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement lifecycle globally-this includes identifying needs, developing specifications, negotiating cost-effective contracts, managing key supplier relationships, and ensuring that service delivery surpasses ambitious business objectives.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage key spend categories with a significant focus on Technology, including software, SaaS, and hardware, along with consultancy, HR and Marketing. This role is central to a newly established Procurement department within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

To flourish in this role you will enjoy leveraging market insights and data analysis to drive opportunities for cost saving and be an agent for change through strong storytelling and influencing.

What You Will Do:

Develop and execute procurement strategies that deliver both immediate and long-term benefits to the company.
Innovate and optimise procurement processes through data-driven insights, setting benchmarks and metrics that support cost-saving and business growth strategies.
Proactively uncover opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings through data analysis and building strong stakeholder engagement, that then translate into strategic sourcing activities
Maintain and enhance supplier relationships to ensure alignment with our strategic goals and deliver outstanding service quality.
Collaborate effectively across departments to ensure compliance with procurement standards and integration of best practices.Desired Skills:

Demonstrable experience as a senior Procurement Leader with a strong focus on software and technology-related procurement.
Proven ability to think strategically and build exceptional stakeholder relationships.
Outstanding negotiation skills with experience in managing high-value technology contracts.
Deep understanding of contractual terms and conditions to effectively mitigate legal and commercial risks.
Highly resilient, with a proactive problem-solving attitude and excellent analytical capabilities.
An inquisitive and analytical mindset, capable of manipulating data to uncover opportunities.
