If so I am hiring a Head of Engineering for a company who have an ethical and moral code that runs through the heart of the business. They're not just putting recycling bins all over the office or pledging to cut their carbon emissions by 2050 – they are genuinely revolutionising the relationship their customers have with their product in their particular industry.
This is enabling smaller suppliers and smaller businesses to have access to a market they could never have had previously whilst providing thousands of consumers with great products. They are an e-commerce subscription business with a solid moral compass and have sustainability and environmental protection at the very core of what they do.
They are experiencing phenomenal growth right now and need an experiences Head of Engineering to further facilitate that growth in a robust and secue environment . 2019 was a record year for them and they are experiencing SIX fold growth this year in terms of revenue – currently (£18 million / Year). They are currently shipping 40,000 of their product every single WEEK (almost exclusively in London) and they are now expanding both nationally and internationally so the growth is set to skyrocket even further.
As such they need a Head of Engineering with a good understanding of the subscription model and someone who has an operational understanding of a complex businesses (worked in atoms not bits) and what goes with it (supply chain, logistics etc). This is a senior role within the business reporting directly to the two founders.
Head of Engineering Key Skills:
– Ecommerce and Ecommerce tools (Shopify / Woocommerce)
– Subscription SaaS (Recurly, Chargebee, Zuoara etc)
– Scaling internationally
– AWS
