Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role encompasses marketing activities for the company's two core brands, with responsibility for supporting the needs of a fast-paced media business, as well as developing strategies to drive the digital acquisition/pureplay business growth strategy respecting the different demographics of current and future customers. Proactively driving profitable sales growth and customer loyalty across the business through PR, Social, Content, Loyalty and CRM strategies.
Key responsibilities;
Implement, execute, and drive the Marketing plans across PR, Social, Content, Loyalty and CRM
Lead, manage and mentor the Marketing Managers for Campaigns & PR, CRM and Loyalty, identifying and nurturing talent and providing mentorship and coaching
Ensure the Marketing Managers are managing to budget and appropriately challenged if spend exceeds budgetary limits, and that spend is continually tracked and evaluated for efficiency and effectiveness
Ensure brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts such as events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material, devising innovative campaigns to differentiate brands in line with the customer demographic
Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department
Set, monitor and report on team KPIs in line with the marketing strategy and business objectives and much, much more
Key attributes;
Educated to degree level, preferably with a degree in marketing / other relevant marketing qualifications
Previous experience in people management & managing marketing functions
Solid track record of marketing leadership preferably in a B2C retail environment
Strong commercial acumen and market awareness
Experience across the marketing mix including CRM, advertising, online and offline techniques and media
PR and media relations experience
