Group Financial Accountant
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £55000 – £65000/annum
Preparation of group consolidated management accounts, manage group tax, group VAT and consolidated statutory accounts £55,000 – £65,000
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Financial Accountant will be responsible for a wide variety of financial reporting, financial analysis and financial compliance tasks & duties
About the Job:
* Preparation of Group consolidated management accounts consolidations, including flash, forecast and month end
* Delivery of the consolidated budgets & forecasts
* Manage the Group tax matters in conjunction with our professional advisors including audit and submission of tax computations
* Preparation of consolidated VAT returns
* Oversee the Group treasury process
* Responsible for preparation of draft full year & interim consolidated statutory accounts
* Provide support to external auditors at half year and year end, including delivery of audit workings
* Preparation of Group Board deliverables including board powerpoint presentations
* Review and make proposals to improve the control environment within the UK and the wider Group
* Ad – hoc tasks as required by Group Finance Director & Group Financial Controller
About you:
* Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA
* Excellent IT skills with advanced Excel skills
* Strong knowledge of PowerPoint
